An Ode to Fallen Leaves: Green Leather Journal
This is a handbound leather journal with laced on boards. The pages are sewn on linen thread and cords. The leather is veg tanned goat, hand dyed to a vibrant green shade I mixed myself. The cover is tooled with foil highlights and conditioned to a slightly shiny finish. The endpapers are an italian letterpress stamped with bats. The endbands are sewn in green and gray cotton. The top and bottom edge have been ploughed smooth by hand, the fore-edge left raw.
Because leather is a natural product, there are a few slight marks as pictured.
The paper is a 24lb parchment-style acid free in gray, 148 sheets.

My books are handmade, custom items (with the exception of any rebinds, as the textblocks are legally purchased books, and the content is not altered in any way). Certain materials, especially leather, can contain natural variations. Colors may also vary between screens, though I do my best to take photos in lighting that accurately shows colors.
